Connect your Vizio TV to the internet to enable SmartCast, streaming apps, and activation at vizio.com/setup.

Wi-Fi setup

1. Open the menu

   Press Menu (or the gear icon) on your remote.

2. Go to Network

   Navigate to Network > Network Connection.

3. Select your Wi-Fi network

   Choose your network name (SSID) from the list. For hidden networks, select Enter Network Name.

4. Enter the password

   Type your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard, then select Connect.

5. Confirm

   Wait for the confirmation message. Test with Menu > Network > Test Connection.

Wired (Ethernet) setup

Plug an Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the back of your TV. Go to Menu > Network > Network Connection > Wired Network. Your TV auto-configures the connection.

Ethernet is recommended for 4K/HDR streaming.

Troubleshooting

Password fails despite being correct

Check for Caps Lock. If your router uses WPA3, try switching to WPA2 only.

Network not showing up

Restart your router. Move it closer. For hidden networks, enter the SSID manually.

Weak signal or slow speeds

Move the router closer, use a Wi-Fi extender, or switch to Ethernet.

Was connected, now won't reconnect

Unplug the TV and router for 60 seconds. Select Forget Network and reconnect.
