Quick fixes
1
Check the power cord
Unplug and firmly reconnect the cord at both the TV and outlet. Inspect for damage.
2
Test the outlet
Plug another device into the same outlet. Bypass surge protectors and power strips.
3
Check the standby LED
A solid LED means power is reaching the TV. No LED means a power source problem. A blinking LED signals an error code (note the pattern).
4
Test the remote
Replace batteries. Try the physical power button on the TV. If the TV button works, the remote is at fault.
5
60-second power cycle
Unplug the TV, wait 60 seconds, hold the TV’s Power button for 30 seconds to drain capacitors, then plug back in.
6
Hard reset via TV buttons
Hold Volume Down + Input on the TV for 10-15 seconds until an on-screen prompt appears.
