Steps

1. Power on your TV

   Plug in your TV and press Power. Wait for it to finish booting.

2. Note the 6-digit code

   An activation screen appears with a unique 6-digit code. If not, go to Menu > System > Reset & Admin > Activate TV.

3. Open vizio.com/setup

   On your phone or computer, visit vizio.com/setup.

4. Sign in or create a free account

   Use your existing Vizio account or create one with your email.

5. Enter the code

   Type the 6-digit code exactly as shown on your TV, then click Continue.

Troubleshooting

Code expired

Codes expire after 15 to 30 minutes. Generate a new one via Menu > System > Reset & Admin > Activate TV.

Invalid code error

Re-check for confused characters (0 vs. O, 1 vs. I) and re-enter carefully.

Page won't load

Clear browser cache, try a different browser, or disable VPN/proxy.

No activation screen appears

Your TV may already be activated. Press the V or SmartCast button, or go to Menu > System > Reset & Admin > Activate TV.
